Inspiration behind the piece
This vase was inspired by Mediterranean interiors where form, material, and light do most of the work. We wanted something that felt architectural but lived-in. A piece that could hold its own in a quiet room, catching light across its ribbed surface the way plaster walls and carved stone do in old villas and coastal homes.
The exaggerated scale and hand-worked texture are intentional. This is about slowing a space down and giving the eye somewhere to rest. Less decoration, more presence.
The result is a vessel that brings a sense of history, restraint, and permanence into modern spaces.
