Inspiration behind the piece
The Capri Tazza is inspired by classic Italian stone forms and the timeless ritual of display, where everyday objects were elevated onto pedestals and treated as art. We were drawn to the quiet confidence of ancient tazze found in villas and courtyards, pieces that felt both utilitarian and ceremonial.
By reinterpreting that silhouette in travertine and simplifying the form to three bold feet and a generous bowl, we created a piece that feels rooted in history but perfectly at home in a modern interior. It’s meant to live out in the open, catching light, casting shadows, and becoming part of the architecture of your space.
